Chorlton Park Choir visits the Alexandra Lodge Care Home to sing carols.
December 10, 2009 by Mr Sloan
Today Chorlton Park’s huge choir went on a long but fun walk to a care home in Walley Range where they sang carols. The choir is made up of children from years 2 to 6, and currently has nearly 70 members. The choir did a fantastic job today, singing beautifully despite technical faults!
Well done to Maeve too – not only a great singer, but a talented photographer!

Wow! What great photos of a really special morning! Thank you to choir for all their hard work! I’m really looking forward to singing with you again on Friday!

I love choir, we sing all different types of songs and I love singing carols. It was fun at the care home, the people were kind they gave us some food at the end.We sang very well.It was a long walk but it was worth it.We also got a morning away from school! The pictures are great there is a picture of me in the back ground and there is a very close up picture of Nancy my sister!More people should come to choir. why aren’t there many people at choir?GREAT post Mr Sloan.Burton 3MB.
A fantastic comment Burton, I agree choir is brilliant! If you are reading this post would like to sing and have fun too, choir is on Thursday straight after school untill 4pm. Miss Etchells x
