We have been looking at how to use subordinate clauses to improve our writing.

A subordinate clause adds detail to a sentence but would not make sense it’s own. E.g. Deep in the woods, there lived an enormous wolf.

 Can you think of any  exciting sentences that use a subordinate clause?
